On December 12th, 2024, the consortium project MBPLE4Mobility – consisting of the partners @Siemens Mobility, @AVL Software and Functions, @AVL Deutschland, @AVL Schrick, @MID GmbH, @Codewerk GmbH, @HMG Systems Engineering, @Hochschule AWW München and @FAU Erlangen − proudly celebrated a major milestone. The final event was hosted by our partner HMG Systems Engineering in Fürth, Germany.
This innovative project, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz) aimed to combine Model-Based Product Line Engineering (MBPLE) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) in rail transport and electric mobility . At AVL, we’ve been applying this approach to reduce costs, minimize risks, and speed up product development. Our ultimate vision is to accelerate the transition to electric vehicles and play a pivotal role in decarbonizing mobility.
After almost 3.5 years of hard work, the final event brought together project leaders, experts, and representatives from @TÜV Rheinland to celebrate and reflect on the project’s achievements. The event featured presentations, videos, and live demos that showcased the progress. To conclude, Andreas Pfeiffer, our consortium leader from Siemens Mobility, extended his gratitude to the sponsor and all the partners for their contribution to the project’s success.
Together we are paving the way for a sustainable future!
